The REST API currently only has GET methods to fetch product information etc. It is really incomplete unless it is possible to add / modify and delete products / orders through the API. Maybe this will require more security but without it, the API is rather useless. I suggest that you add PUT/DELETE and POST methods so that products can be updated via the API

Create a module which gets randoms products / best sellers / selected products to show in a module position with same viewmode (GRID, LIST, TABLE) with option you can click on EG.

Show description ON/OFF
show Image ON/OFF
Show Price ON/OFF
ETC.

It would be absolutely fantastic if there was created a "basic" integration of importing orders, payment status and accounted an order thereby automatic when marked paid.

Other advanced stuff can be for later, the basic will basically make punching sales into e-conomic not needed (saves a lot of time).

This would mean end users can both manage their website and shop in one place. It would make it more user friendly.

Shipwire is an order fufilment service across the US, Canda and UK. They actively work with shopping cart developers and have an XML API in place. Info can be found at http://www.shipwire.com/help/c/how-it-works/developer-tools/ - I currently use this through ecommerce, and this is the only thing stopping me heading over to Ecwid.

Would be great if the API had calls for things like most popular products, newest products, with parameter for number of products to return.

To facilitate Ecwid's recent partnering with iPay88, the largest on-line payment system in Malaysia, real time rates for Pos Malaysia are needed. There is an existing API for postal rates and I hope that Ecwid can build a widget or modify existing widgets to incorporate real time rates for all of us shipping within and from Malaysia.

Change the order API to make address available in two fields just like it is entered. Every time I've needed to use this field, I've had to split it - returning it to the same format it was entered in with. It would save a step in every instance that I've used the API to have the fields broken out the same way they are entered by the customer.
