Maybe start with the basics, like pushing customer, sales and payment transaction data to QuickBooks. Can add more functionality later, like 2-way integration for product listings, inventory, etc.

Although Ecwid is a widget that is additional to a CMS or static site, (http://www.ecwid.com/forums/showthread.php?p=366#post366), it would still be very important to have seo friendly urls, page titles and possibly descriptions, per product/category, that are generated with inline seo for better scanning with google. If you could implement this, specific products could be targeted for google and essentially would make Ecwid a superior product, as great as it already is.

I'd like the option to have one main account and 'add' client accounts so I can view and manage all client accounts easily. The idea is that we can also brand the system ourselves and essentially resell it. I'd be happy to pay for this service, what do you think?

Modifying the CSS to match the style of an existing site is very time consuming. It would be great to have a widget or form that would allow you to specify colors of the various elements, then automatically update the style sheet in all the appropriate places.

Google is now able to index AJAX content, not all people are able to utilize Ecwid's inline SEO catalog and many already struggle with its implementation.

If Ecwid were able to be indexed by Google's new AJAX indexing function, the platform would be much more diverse than it already is.

I think it will be really very interesting tool...as soon as sale happen by using Ecwid...this 3rd party accounting system records it , accounts it and makes life easy!

i can think of Xero.com as one of the 3rd party accounting service provider. Can you suggest any other better option.

Думаю, не проблема отслеживать обороты магазинов, созданных на основе вашего приложения. Многие может были и не против использовать хороший магазин, но не уверены что дело пойдет, будет прибыль и не готовы изначльно платить (особенно в России). Поэтому имеет смысл давать полную версию бесплатно ограничив кол-во заказов в месяц или сумму заказов за период и т.п.

Ecwid is a very fast and easy to set up cart. In my business (movie collectables) it would be better for me to have a site for each range of collectables. It is much easier to get targeted SEO where there is a single subject. However I would like a single product database and single set of orders. With some indicator saying which site (say a number 1-10) on each product. And even potentially rhe ability to specify some products on every site.
I feel Ecwid lends itself to smaller more targeted sites rather than large multi function sites.

Joomla has plugins to integrate your Cafepress or Spreadshirt store - would be a nice feature to autofill my Ecwid store with my Cafepress products and use their checkout
