I suggest you ...

Promotion involving buy one product get this percentage or value off another product. Multiple products, one promotion, two values.

Every online retail store has to move out old stock and inventory. A great way to do this is to offer a discount off an old product when people buy new products.

Unfortunately ecwid isn't set up so you can define a promotion that's makes it so when one product is bought you can get 50% or $5 dollars off another product wi a coupon code.

Instead it's setup so there is a total which means they can buy any products that meet the set amount and get a discount with the coupon code.

Result is your company losing money or playing it safe and not using coupon codes...

I fully support this idea. I'm trying to give a 30% on the launch of a new product but since ecwid doesn't let me select a particular product for giving the discount, the users are using the discount coupon to purchase other products. This is really not acceptable.
