It's very strange how even though this is one of the most requested features, and although submitted 2 and a half years ago it hasn't even been marked as 'Planning' yet.

Need this feature yesterday - we're a services business and invoice customers monthly, all prepaid.
Likelihood and timeframe of developing??

Yes I very much need this but because the service is not provided to do ETF/direct debit I will have to look somewhere else where this can be provided.

This would really be great. Even more so if it could be combined with GoCardless (www.gocardless.com) - offering small business owners to collect money by direct debit for a flat 1% capped at £2 (minimum fee 10 UK pence - potentially a PayPal killer for not for profits and membership based organisations collecting donations and subscritions. Currently only available in the UK but launching in Europe mid 2012 and USA thereafter

Is it a question of resources or a technical problem to have this feature? Seems really simple to integrate but at least give us a reason for not adding this to what is otherwise a great shopping cart set-up.
I read that your payment gateway, 2CheckOut doesn't allow for recurring billing - is that the issue? Any insight would be helpful here.
Thank you

There's a LOT of interest in a subscription/recurring billing option! It would great if we could get some feedback from the developers on this feature.

The total number of days between Sunday, September 27th, 2009 and Saturday, March 10th, 2012 is 895 days.
This is equal to exactly 2 years, 5 months, and 12 days ago ..
it's the oldest idea and hasn't even been flagged as planned yet!
so upsetting and very infuriating ...... BOO! Ecwid ..

This is the only thing keeping me from jumping for joy over your product. I really need a subscription option for my business and I'm not sure I can use the product until this happens.
Are there any plans for this to be integrated and if so, when?

This would be awesome! Otherwise, we will be forced to go with another solution, unfortunately since you're plugin looks great.

I really need this for my business, is this going to be availible soon. I love all the other features and how great this looks and easy it is to use and integrate, but this is a major feature that I need.

For things like website hosting, the ability to have something charge monthly on a recurring basis would be really useful. Right now I have to do it manually in my virtual terminal, which means I have to manually call and get CC info. I wish there was an option in ECWID for recurring charges...
Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly, or Annually.

Does anyone know if this is going to get "planned" anytime soon?
